YUXI’s canister anode consists of MMO/Ti anode installed in a galvanized steel canister that is filled with calcined petroleum coke breeze backfill. The canister is capped with the cable extending out the top of the anode cap. The actual anode inside the canister can have a wide range of configurations, including tubular, wire, rod, ribbon and mesh types. However, the most common configuration is the tubular anode.
Our MMO canister anodes are manufactured from high-tensile titanium, which meets commercially ASTM B338 Grade I standards.

Based upon accelerated life testing conducted by an independent laboratory, our MMO coating has been proven to be superior to other similar products in the market.
* Depend on the form of usage, we can produce anodes with different nobel metal oxide ratios and differing coating thickness.
The current output of the anode varies in different applications from soil to seawater. Longer working life can be achieved by increasing the coating thickness or reducing the operating current density.

It is commonly used for impressed current cathodic protection of metallic pipelines and storage tanks in either shallow vertical or horizontal surface ground beds, as well as wet, marshy soil conditions where caving is likely to occur.
