Silver/Silver Chloride Probe Reference Electrode

The silver-silver chloride (Ag/AgCl) electrode is by far the most popular type of reference electrode designed for use in high-chloride conditions, such as seawater environments, concrete structures, etc. It is constructed from a silver wire, part of which is ‘chloridized’ (covered with finely divided silver chloride).
