Marine Cable

Marine cable is a special electric cable normally made with a stranded copper conductor, multiple protective layers and a PVC jacket. Its copper conductor usually possess a tin coating which reduces corrosion and prevents electrical failure. The cable has cross-linked polyefilin (PO) shield resistant to sun, flames and oil. This kind of cable is able to achieve and maintain high performance in harsh conditions of heat, cold, humidity, vibration and salt corrosion, etc.

XLPE/PVC Armoured Power Cable

This electrical cable is composed of plain annealed copper conductor insulated with XLPE, then is covered with PVC bedding, steel wire armored layer and outermost PVC sheath. The thermosetting XLPE insulation layer provides excellent dielectric strength and corrosion resistance at high temperatures. And the extra metalic armor features a robust construction, offering exceptional protection against damage by external physical impact or chemical gases corrosion. Our armored cables allow a continuous flow of electricity to be carried in the toughest conditions that require the most durable wiring, providing enhanced reliability and performance.

PVC/PVC Armoured Power Cable

Armoured cable typically refers to a special type of cable that’s also known as SWA cable or steel wire armoured (SWA) cable. YUXI typical armoured cable is XLPE/PVC/SWA/PVC which is composed of copper wire covered by cross linked polyethylene (XLPE), PVC bedding, galvanised steel wire armouring and PVC jacket. These are specially-built, hardy power cables protective layer can be added to any structure of the cable to increase the mechanical strength of the cable and improve the erosion resistance. In addition, the purpose of adding armour layer to the cable is to enhance the tensile strength, compressive strength, etc., which can protect the cable and prolong its service life.

Thermoplastic High Heat-resistant Nylon-coated (THHN) Cable

Thermoplastic high heat-resistant nylon-coated (THHN) cable has a thin flame-resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation that is covered by an abrasion-resistant nylon sheath. It is popular among electrical contractors as an inexpensive cathodic protection cable that can be used in industrial environments. THHN cables can withstand grease, oil, heat and pass the FT1 flame test.

XLPE/PVC Dual-Insulated Power Cable

XLPE/PVC cable is the most common used cable in cathodic protection systems. It is composed of copper core covered with XLPE Insulation layer which has excellent chemical resistance and low temperature tolerance. The jacket layer is made of PVC material which enhance its dielectric strength, waterproofness and flame retardancy .
PVDF HMWPE Cable
PVDF HMWPE Copper Conductor Cable

PVDF(Kynar)/HMWPE Dual-Insulated Cable

This cable is composed of stranded copper wire covered by two layers of insulation. The outer jacket is made from high molecular weight polyethylene. The inner insulation is composed of PVDF fluorocopolymer. This material is resistant to water intrusion , and is not affected by most organic or inorganic substances. It is used as direct earth burial DC feeder cable in impressed current cathodic protection systems.
