Titanium Power Feeder

Titanium Power Feeder Kit

This titanium power feed assembly unit is a specialized component used in the cathodic protection system to establish a secure and efficient electrical connection between the power source and the CP system. It enables the transfer of DC power from the power supply to the anode or anode bed, which helps to mitigate corrosion on metallic structures. Our titanium power feed assemblies are often applied to power connections in under-tank grid anode systems. It serves as the link between the DC current feeder cable and the titanium conductor bar.
Titanium Conductor Bar
Titanium Conductor Bar

Titanium Conductor Bar

Titanium conductor bar is usually be used along with the MMO ribbon anode, acting as an inert conductor to evenly distribute the CP current throughout the system. MMO ribbon is often spot welded to titanium conductor bar at the point of crossover, forming a grid arrangement. It reduces attenuation losses and connects to the positive cable through rod connectors.
Polarization Test Probe
Polarization Test Probe

Polarization Test Probe

This probe is a long-acting reference electrode designed to provide an IR free potential reading that is as close as theoretically possible to that point where the structure and environment meet. It is mainly used for the detection and monitoring of cathodic protection potential in buried and underwater steel pipeline corrosion control engineering. The specific structure of the probe can eliminate the IR drop of about 90% in the soil medium.
Solid-State Decoupler
Solid-State Decoupler

Solid-State Decoupler (SSD)

The solid state decoupler (SSD) functions as a DC isolation and AC grounding device designed for use in conjunction with cathodically protected equipment. It allows AC induced current to pass and prevents the flow of DC current while the DC voltage remains below the predetermined voltage threshold. When the DC voltage exceeds the threshold, the device instantly switches on forming a near short circuit across the circuit and limits the DC voltage of the device. Immediately, the voltage falls as the surge event passes and decays to below the threshold level, the solid state decoupler switches off and reverts to its blocking mode.
Spark Gap
Isolating Spark Gap

Spark Gap

The isolating spark gap (ISG), also known as spark gap arrester is intend to provide galvanic isolation between electrical installation parts where direct connections are not permitted. The galvanic isolation not only prevents electrochemical corrosion, but also provides a connection capable of carrying lightning current. With silicone enclosure encapsulated by high strength glass cloth cylinder and epoxy resin, our EX-certified spark gap is an extremely heavy-duty device constructed for low temperatures, corrosion resistance, weathering and UV. It is ideally used for above-ground and under-ground installation situated in hazardous zones.
Test Coupon

Corrosion Test Coupon

Our test coupon is a metal specimen made of carbon steel (grade 20), which is the similar material as the metallic pipeline structure under cathodic protection inspection. It is commonly buried in the electrolyte adjacent to the protected structure to be tested and connected to it through a test station. This allows the coupon to be connected to the structure's CP system and to be polarized in a similar manner as the structure. Thus, the test coupon effectively gives a visual indication of cathodic protection levels —— a proven way to determine the polarization level of a structure and to determine the IR drop error that is always associated with structure to soil potential measurement.
Thermal Welding Kit

Thermal Welding Kit

Thermal welding is an efficient method used for permanent electrical connections. It works by high temperature chemical reaction caused by aluminum and powdered copper oxide in a mould.
Vent Pipe
Vent Pipe

PVC Vent Pipe

Typically, cathodic protection deep well anode system operates at relatively high outputs to supply lots of current over a broad area. Therefore, large amounts of chlorine gas are inevitably generated from the dissolution of naturally occurring salts in the soil. If not vented properly, these chlorine gas can cause serious lead cable insulation corrosion—— resulting in a premature system failure. To tackle this problem, the vent pipes are widely used to displace chlorine gas generated by the discharge of DC current from the impressed current anodes. The vent pipe is commonly centered in the active area coke column allowing chlorine gas to escape into atmosphere. Made of high quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin, our vent pipes are perforated with relatively large diameter holes and covered by a layer of geotextile fabric filter, in turn greatly enhancing the venting capability. Moreover, this pipe can also be used to add water to a deep well if the active anode column becomes dry.
Heat Shrinkable End Cap

Heat Shrinkable End Cap

Our heat-shrinkable end caps are designed for optimum water-proofing and environmental protection of wire terminations. The sleeve is made of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) which resists external abrasion and the erosion of most chemical substances. The internal surface is coated with hot melt adhesive which can completely seal the nozzle after heat shrinkage and protect against moisture ingress. With excellent thermal stability and watertight sealing, our heat-shrinkable caps are available for underwater, underground and outdoor applications.
Heat Shrinkable Tube

Heat-Shrinkable Tube

Heat-shrinkable tubing is a type of extruded plastic tubing that can be cut to size and fitted over a wire or cable joint to protect and insulate the connection. When heated is applied the tubing shrinks permanently providing a protective seal. The sleeve is made of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) which resists external abrasion and the erosion of most chemical substances. The internal surface is coated with hot melt adhesive which can completely seal the nozzle after heat shrinkage and protect against moisture ingress. With excellent thermal stability and watertight sealing, our heat-shrinkable tubing are commonly used in cable splice protection, metal pipe corrosion, and electrical applications.
