Iridium-Tantalum Oxide Coated Titanium Anode Plate for Electrolytic Copper Foil Production
Known for its excellent heat and electric conductivity, copper foil is an indispensable material in the current electronic industry, first and foremost in the EV and 5G industries. The demand for high-grade copper foils has significantly increased in recent years for their excessive use in electronic appliances —— as the conductive material for printed circuit boards (PCBs), anode material for lithium-ion batteries of electric vehicles, and shielding material for displays.
The copper foils are either produced by rolling or electro-deposition (ED). Electro-deposited copper foil is manufactured by depositing copper ions, via electrolysis, onto a rotating titanium drum to form a thin film of high purity foil. The cathode is attached to the drum and the anode plates, fabricated on the drum base, are immersed in the copper electrolyte solution. When an electric field is applied between electrodes, the copper is deposited on the drum surface as it rotates at a very slow pace. The thickness of the copper foil can be controlled by the rotation speed and current density of the drum. YUXI’s long-lasting mixed metal oxide coated titanium anode plate should be the best choice in optimizing the manufacturing process of electrolytic copper foil.
Description
—— Quality Substrate Material ——
Our electrodes are manufactured from high-tensile titanium, which meets commercially Grade I/II standards.

—— Long Service Coating ——
Using state-of-the-art technology, the titanium base is taken to a high temperature ( ≥1200 °C) in a vacuum sintering furnace ensuring total adhesion of the coating. Thus, the coating consumption rate is extremely low and uniform, measured in milligrams per ampere-year.
—— Working Environment ——
