Ruthenium-Iridium Oxides Coated Titanium Plate for Swimming Pool Chlorinator
Swimming pool sanitation is an important requirement for any pool owner. To maintain high levels of water quality, the bathing water needs continuous disinfection and sterilization. There are several chemical and non-chemical treatment options available in the market. Owing to the side effects of conventional chemical disinfectants, electro-chlorination (also konwn as salt chlorination) has emerged as the most popular non-chemical solution in recent years. Electro-chlorination (EC) is the process of electrolysis of brine solution and softened water to produce an active chlorine solution, containing sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) and hypochlorous acid (HClO). When the salt chlorinator is energized, the electrodes catalyze reactions with the sodium chloride(NaCl) and water molecules(H2O) at the anode and cathode surfaces to generate the chlorine solution. The production of chlorine is instantaneous which banishes the risks of overproduction. When the chlorine kills or inactivates pathogens and oxidizes organics/contaminants, the chlorine returns to the native state as salt in water. To ensure the electro-chemical reaction effectiveness, titanium electrodes with platinum group metals (PGMs) are generally the best suited to water disinfection. YUXI offers high quality mixed metal oxide coated titanium plates in various sizes for pool chlorinator cell.
Description
—— Quality Substrate Material ——
Our electrodes are manufactured from high-tensile titanium, which meets commercially Grade I/II standards.

—— Long Service Coating ——
Using state-of-the-art technology, the titanium base is taken to a high temperature ( ≥1200 °C) in a vacuum sintering furnace ensuring total adhesion of the coating. Thus, the coating consumption rate is extremely low and uniform, measured in milligrams per ampere-year.
—— Working Environment ——
