YUXI's prepackaged magnesium anode is mainly composed of a cast magnesium anode centrally packed in a permeable cotton bag with highly hygroscopic backfill. Normally, it is firmly wrapped in a PE bag or paper outer lining (usually for shipping purposes) which should be removed prior to installation. The added backfill helps to decrease the resistance of the anode to the ground, retains moisture and allows for a better efficiency and homogeneous consumption of the anode, thus creating an efficient anode bed. Prepackaged anode is appropriate for direct burial. It simplifies the on-site construction process for convenient and fast installation. The original operation at the construction site will be completed in the factory, which effectively ensure the construction and installation quality of the anode ground bed.

Drive-in Magnesium Anode with Lead Wire & Clamp

This drive-in anode is an high-purity extruded magnesium rod with a steel core, which has a machined "spike" or "45-degree angle cut" end for easy penetration through the soil. An adjustable stainless steel hose clamp with set screw is included to allow easy attachment of the anode to the protected structure.The anode is fitted with a steel hexagonal head and threaded UHMW polyethylene driving cap. Thus, the lead wire and soldered connection are protected during installation.

Anode rod is the key factor in preventing corrosion and leaks in water heater. The anode rod delivers electrons into the water that helps to create an environment that diverts corrosive action away from the tank walls to the anode rod. Thus, it prolongs the service life of the inner tank and the heating pipe.
