Corrosion-Resistant Polyethylene (PE) Outer Tape
YUXI’s polyethylene outer corrosion-resistant tape is a cold-applied tape specifically designed to protect metal structures in extreme environmental conditions. The outer corrosion-resistant tape shall be applied after the inner corrosion-resistant tape by hand or with a wrapping machine. It offers anti-corrosion protection for oil pipelines, natural gas pipelines, water pipelines and so on.
Description
YUXI’s polyethylene outer corrosion-resistant tape is a cold-applied tape specifically designed to protect metal structures in extreme environmental conditions. The outer corrosion-resistant tape shall be applied after the inner corrosion-resistant tape by hand or with a wrapping machine. It offers anti-corrosion protection for oil pipelines, natural gas pipelines, water pipelines and so on.
The tape consists of two parts: an adhesive layer and a film backing layer. The film backing layer is a special blend of stabilized polyethylene, while the adhesive layer is made of butyl rubber.

—— Features ——
- Excellent adhesion: adheres securely to surfaces, ensuring a robust and reliable connection.
- Ease application by hand or machine: can be easily applied by hand or machine, enhancing convenience and efficiency.
- Long-lasting corrosion protection: provides long-lasting protection against corrosion, safeguarding against deterioration over time.
- Strong resistance to the cathodic disbondment: demonstrates exceptional resistance to cathodic disbondment, maintaining structural integrity and performance.
- Good flexibility and uniform thickness: offers good flexibility and maintains a consistent uniform thickness, ensuring a snug fit and reliable coverage.
- Strong weather resistance: effectively resists UV radiation and adapts to a wide range of temperatures

—— Practical Application ——
Our tapes are widely used to prevent eternal corrosion of pipelines, including oil pipelines, natural gas pipelines, water pipelines and any other underground or overhead steel pipelines.
