Corrosion-Resistant Polyethylene (PE) Inner Tape
YUXI’s corrosion-resistant polyethylene (PE) inner tape is a cold-applied tape specifically designed to protect eternal corrosion of pipelines, including oil pipelines, natural gas pipelines, water pipelines and any other underground or overhead steel pipelines. Its application should follow the application of primer and precede the application of the PE outer tape.
Description
YUXI’s corrosion-resistant polyethylene (PE) inner tape is a cold-applied tape specifically designed to protect eternal corrosion of pipelines, including oil pipelines, natural gas pipelines, water pipelines and any other underground or overhead steel pipelines. Its application should follow the application of primer and precede the application of the PE outer tape.
The tape consists of two parts: an adhesive layer and a film backing layer. The film backing layer is a special blend of stabilized polyethylene, while the adhesive layer is made of butyl rubber.

—— Features ——
Our polyethylene tape is engineered to present high performance of chemical and mechanical characteristics, in which preserves outstanding dimensional stability, elasticity and durability even in harsh conditions.
- High bond strength: excellent adhesion to the primed surface with super conformability characteristics
- Good flexibility and uniform thickness: conforms to irregular shapes and profiles with exceptional sealing and cushioned properties
- Strong chemical resistance: long-lasting resistant to mineral acids, alkalis and salts
- Superior cathodic disbondment: offers the optimum barrier for long term protection against corrosion
- Wide range of operating temperatures: can be applied at both low and high temperatures
- Ease application: can be easily applied by hand or using wrapping devices

—— Practical Application ——
YUXI’s polyethylene inner tapes are recommended for corrosion prevention and long-term protection of various underground pipelines, pipe bends, weld seams, T-pieces, etc. Our tapes can be applied on steel, ductile iron pipes, and any other buried metallic structures.
