YUXI's vane anode consists of four arms constructed of titanium substrate coated with mixed metal oxide (IrO2/Ta2O5) conductive film. As a key part to compose the pyramid anode, it is generally mounted on a high-density waterproof concrete base, which is to provide negative buoyancy and enhance the stability at sea-bottom. Attached with double-armored insulated cable, this vane anode can be fully assembled in site and lower onto the seabed. This vane anode is ideally suited for cathodic protection of offshore platforms, sheet piling, jetty piles and all similar facilities.

YUXI's flexible MMO linear anode is a kind of anode which is prepackaged in a porous, non-woven fabric "sock" that contains high conductivity calcined petroleum coke breeze —— enhancing the abrasion and damage resistance. It improves the current distribution efficiency and helps prevent over-voltage problems such as hydrogen generation and associated rapid coating disbondment. Our MMO linear anode consists of titanium wire coated with Ir-Ta mixed metal oxide catalyst, running in parallel with an insulated copper conductor. It is used for impressed current cathodic protection of buried structures, such as buried oil (gas) pipelines, underground tank, petrochemical container etc.

YUXI's MMO tubular anode is generally connected in strings with electrical cable by specialized pure copper connector. Normally, the anode string is pre-assembled in our factory and ready for installation on-site. All connections are encapsulated with good epoxy resin to create a waterproof seal. We recommend dual-insulated cable (such as PVDF/ HMWPE) for use in ground bed with high level of chlorides. While HMWPE is an economical choice for shallow vertical and horizontal surface beds with no chlorides. Marine cable is ideal for seawater applications due to its high current capacity and flexibility.
